Those words are indeed judgemental and harsh. Tarring [everyone] with the same brush. Unfortunately there is a christian music industry that has defined a christian music genre. Not everyone deserves the critiscism but those who pursue their art to the greater glory of God or the edification of the unwashed [should] find a means of disentagling themselves from the business of making christian music. No cash for comment. The best music being made by christian musicians no longer sits comfortably under the label of Christian Music. It's just music made by Christians.' - Dirk Logemann 'Christian music' could be defined as 'Music made by a Christian', but perhaps music should not be categorised in this way as God created all music, not just selected notes. Many people look to lyrics to define 'Christian music'. However, this is less than ideal. Too much of 'Christian music' is lacklustre and mediocre when viewed as 'art'. Art is art. Music is music.
